AI2 maintains a rigorous, evidence-based selection process to identify candidates with the technical foundation and professional maturity required for a high-level career in Artificial Intelligence. As a practitioner-led institute, we prioritize individuals who demonstrate both academic excellence and a tangible passion for shipping real-world AI systems.
Admissions Requirements
1. Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6): Applicants must hold a state-recognized degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering).
- Academic Excellence: A strong academic record, typically represented by a "mention bien" or an international equivalent (CGPA 3.0/4.0 or higher), is expected.
- Master’s Eligibility: Direct entry into our RNCP Level 7 program requires full completion of a 180 ECTS (or equivalent) undergraduate program.
3. English Language Proficiency
- B2 Level Minimum: Proof of proficiency is required for the international track via recognized tests (TOEFL iBT: 80+, IELTS: 6.5+, or Duolingo: 110+).
- Medium of Instruction: Candidates who completed their previous degree entirely in English may request a waiver with an official university letter.
5. Additional Requirements (Program-Specific)
- Technical Portfolio: Submission of a GitHub link or portfolio showcasing personal AI projects, data analysis, or open-source contributions is highly recommended.
- Work Experience: While not mandatory, relevant internships or professional experience in tech will be viewed favorably.
7. Visa Requirements (International Students)
- Campus France: Mandatory processing for students from "Études en France" procedure countries.
- VLS-TS Visa: Support provided for obtaining the Long-Stay Student Visa.

4. Entrance Exam / Interview
- Technical Interview: Shortlisted candidates will participate in a professional interview with the AI2 faculty to assess technical aptitude and logic.
- Professional Maturity: We evaluate your ability to work in a practitioner-led environment and your commitment to shipping real-world AI projects.
6. Financial Requirements
- Funding Roadmap: Applicants should provide a preliminary plan for tuition coverage (Internal Scholarship, Apprenticeship intent, or Personal Funding).
- Proof of Funds: International students must provide documentation for visa purposes showing the ability to cover living costs in France or Belgium.
