Online Certificates · 40, 60 & 100 Hours
Practical online learning in artificial intelligence and data, with pathways for technical and non-technical students.
Online learning · technical and non-technical students
Build AI skills in 40, 60 or 100 hours
AI2’s online certificates give students from any background a structured, practical introduction to applied and generative AI. Choose a foundation, applied-skills or project pathway, individually or as part of a cohort organised with your university or college. Teaching combines live online sessions with AI2 faculty, short self-paced lessons, practical exercises and, for the longer formats, a documented project you can show to employers.
- Three formats: 40 hours (foundations), 60 hours (applied skills), 100 hours (project pathway).
- Two tracks in the applied formats: business or technology, adapted to your academic background.
- Taught by the AI2 teaching team, the same faculty who deliver the BSc and MSc programmes in Paris and Écouen.
- Partner cohorts from 25 learners, with schedules, language and assessment agreed with the institution.
- Certificate of completion issued by AI2, a Qualiopi-certified training provider; separate from the BSc and MSc routes.

Why choose an AI2 online certificate
Faculty
Taught by degree-programme faculty
Sessions are led by the AI2 teaching team, practitioners and researchers in machine learning, data engineering, cybersecurity and IoT, not by a content platform.
Method
Learning by doing
Every module ends with a practical exercise on real tools. The 60- and 100-hour formats add a documented project, reviewed and presented to a jury of AI2 faculty.
Flexibility
Live sessions and self-paced study
Weekly live online classes are recorded; lessons, exercises and resources stay available on the learning platform for the duration of the course and three months after.
Recognition
A certified French institute
AI2 is a Qualiopi-certified training provider whose degree programmes prepare for RNCP-registered professional titles. The certificate states the format, hours, track and skills assessed.

How it works
Step 1
Enquire
Send us your preferred format, your background and, for institutions, the size of the group. We send the course information, dates and fees within two working days.
Step 2
Placement and track
A short questionnaire and, if useful, a call with the course lead confirm the right format and the business or technology track.
Step 3
Learn
Weekly live online sessions with AI2 faculty, self-paced lessons and exercises on the learning platform, and tutor office hours for questions.
Step 4
Project and certificate
Complete the assessment or present your project. AI2 issues the certificate of completion and, for partner cohorts, a results report to the institution.

Advice on degree routes
Graduates of the 100-hour pathway who wish to continue can discuss the entry routes into AI2’s BSc and MSc programmes with the admissions team. The certificate itself does not confer admission.
For universities, colleges and training partners
AI2 delivers the certificates as cohorts for partner institutions, in India, Sri Lanka, the Gulf and Europe, as part of the memoranda of understanding signed with its academic partners. Several agreements include credit-bearing AI courses for the partner’s students.
- Cohorts from 25 learners, schedule aligned with the academic calendar of the institution.
- Co-branded course information and certificate, with the partner’s logo.
- A named AI2 course lead, weekly live sessions and tutor hours in the cohort’s time zone.
- Attendance, assessment and results report delivered to the institution.
- Language of delivery agreed with the partner; English by default.

Frequently asked questions
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do I need programming skills? | No for the 40-hour format and for the business track. The technology track assumes basic computer literacy; Python is introduced from the start. |
| How much time per week? | About 4 to 6 hours per week, including the live session. The 40-hour format runs over 8 weeks, the 60-hour over 10 to 12 weeks and the 100-hour over 16 to 20 weeks; cohort calendars are agreed with the institution. |
| Are sessions live or recorded? | Both. Live online sessions take place weekly and are recorded; lessons and exercises are self-paced on the learning platform. |
| Which tools do I need? | A computer with a browser and a stable connection. Accounts for the AI tools used in class are set up during the first session; free tiers are sufficient. |
| Is the certificate a diploma? | No. It is a certificate of completion issued by AI2. It does not confer a degree, an RNCP professional title or admission to a degree programme. |
| Can my university organise a cohort? | Yes, from 25 learners. Contact us with the expected group size, dates and preferred format; a course information sheet and a quotation are sent within a week. |
