Hackathons, conferences and institutional events
AI2 students and faculty take part in national hackathons, academic conferences and institutional meetings that connect the programmes with industry, public institutions and partner universities in France, India, Sri Lanka and the Gulf. This page records the activities of the 2025–2026 academic year and the events planned for the months ahead.
- Student challenges: the CND hackathon of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces (November 2025) and the GAIA generative-AI hackathon at the Salon International de l’Agriculture (February 2026).
- Conferences and keynotes: IEEE World Skills Conference in Indore, masterclass in Pune, public conference in Nogent-le-Rotrou.
- Institutional events: the 2026 academic tour in India and Sri Lanka and the September 2026 MSc cohort kick-off in Écouen.

AI culture for everyone
AI2 gave a public conference at the Université du Temps Libre de Nogent-le-Rotrou on how artificial intelligence works, its real uses and the changes it brings to professions and society.

September 2026 · Keynote
IEEE World Skills Conference, Indore
AI2’s founding president delivered the keynote “From Data to Decisions” on the three waves of AI and the skills equation of Industry 5.0, with the IEEE Computer Society Madhya Pradesh Section.

September 2026 · Masterclass
Build Skills That Travel, Pune
World Classroom Series session for students of Symbiosis Skills & Professional University on global careers in data and AI.

7 September 2026 · Campus
New MSc cohort kick-off
The new Master of Science cohort started on 7 September 2026 at the Val d’Oise Numérique campus in Écouen: machine learning, generative AI, data engineering and IoT, with company projects and work-study.

24–25 February 2026 · Hackathon
GAIA hackathon, Salon International de l’Agriculture
Organised by La Ferme Digitale with the Chambre d’agriculture de Normandie, 48 hours to build a tool measuring the technical and economic impact of a grassland transition for livestock farms, based on INOSYS case studies.

18–20 November 2025 · Hackathon
CND Hackathon 2025, Mont-Valérien
A team of five Master 1 students represented AI2 at the national hackathon of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces: an AI solution to anticipate failures and optimise the resources of a military network, alongside schools such as 42, ESIEA, Dauphine-PSL and ECE.
