Frequently asked questions
Which programmes are available?
AI2’s 2027 international portfolio has two final-year BSc programmes and three MSc pathways. Browse the programme directory for curriculum, admission requirements and fees.
What is the difference between the AI2 diploma and an RNCP title?
The AI2 programme diploma and the French RNCP professional title are distinct awards. Programmes prepare students for the relevant title, which requires validation of the certification’s competency blocks. RNCP Level 7 alone does not confer the French national Master degree or the grade de master.
Are the programmes taught in English?
The international portfolio is taught in English. The portfolio lists B2 English, IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 72 or equivalent. A medium-of-instruction certificate may be used when your previous degree was taught in English. Admissions confirms the evidence accepted for your application.
Is French required for admission?
French is not an admission requirement for the international portfolio. Optional French classes are described in the student-support offer.
Who can apply to the final Bachelor year?
The BSc entry routes require two years of relevant higher education. The accepted subject background varies by programme; consult the programme page and contact admissions.
Can I enter MSc Year 2 directly?
A related four- or five-year degree may allow direct Year 2 entry after academic review. This route takes 18 months: a 12-month taught phase and a 6-month company internship. A relevant three-year Bachelor’s degree normally leads to the common MSc Year 1.
What documents are needed?
Prepare your passport, degree certificates and transcripts, CV, statement of purpose and evidence of English. Certified translations may be needed. Direct Year 2 applicants should also provide the previous degree’s course list or syllabus.
How are applications assessed?
Admissions reviews the academic file, confirms the appropriate entry level and arranges an online interview. The admission letter sets out the offer and next steps.
When are the next intakes?
The portfolio lists January, May and September 2027. Programme availability for each intake is confirmed in the admission letter; contact admissions for current application deadlines.
Can I take a work-study route?
Work-study may be available from the second year in France, subject to eligibility and an employer contract. Finding a company is a separate process. See the work-study page for details.
Are scholarships available?
International applicants can be assessed for an AI2 scholarship. Awards are conditional and confirmed in the admission letter. Review the tuition and scholarship information.
Where can I see the campus?
Explore the campus photographs and presentation films. Contact AI2 before visiting to confirm the appointment and location.
What student support is described in the portfolio?
The portfolio includes academic guidance, housing guidance, optional French classes and preparation for internship or work-study searches, including CV and interview coaching. Contact the team for the arrangements in your intake.
Does admission guarantee a visa?
AI2 can provide admission documents and guidance for the procedure. Visa decisions are made by the French authorities. Consult official French resources for requirements specific to your situation.
