How much does AI2 cost in 2027? This page gathers the tuition of every AI2 programme and format in one place: the standard fee, the reference amount after the conditional AI2 scholarship, what the fee covers and how payment works.
All figures below come from AI2’s programme pages and are given per academic year unless stated otherwise. The amount that applies to you, including any scholarship, is the one written in your admission letter, which prevails over any other document.

One-year formats: the simplest budgets
Three formats are charged as a single fee, which makes them easy to plan. The BSc final year costs €10,500 for the year, from €9,900 with a scholarship, and includes a company placement. The 18-month direct entry is charged at the MSc Year 2 tuition of €13,000, from €11,300 when a scholarship is awarded, and the six-month internship that follows the taught phase is part of the programme. The Fast-Track is €12,500 for the whole eleven months, or €11,000 with the Fast-Track scholarship.
Multi-year formats: add each year
For the three-year Bachelor and the two-year MSc, tuition is charged year by year. The AI2 scholarship applies to the first year of enrolment, and the amounts for the following years are stated in your admission letter. Ask admissions for the full multi-year schedule before you enrol, so that your family and your visa file show the complete picture.
How the AI2 scholarship works
When you apply, your profile is assessed automatically for the AI2 international scholarship. There is no separate form and no extra fee. The award can combine up to three criteria:
- Partner-channel award: when you apply through one of AI2’s partner institutions, in India, Sri Lanka or elsewhere.
- Merit award: based on your academic record and your admission interview.
- Full-payment award: when you pay the academic year in full.
The conditions are the same for every programme: the award applies to the first year of enrolment, it is not transferable, it cannot be combined with other discounts, and being assessed does not guarantee an award. The Fast-Track has its own €1,500 scholarship for applications submitted before 15 November 2026; it cannot be combined with other AI2 discounts or scholarships. Details and examples are on the scholarships page.
What your tuition covers
The fee pays for the programme itself and a set of professional tools offered to every student:
- Teaching, labs, projects and examinations, including the competency-block juries of the final year.
- Google Workspace with Gemini for studies and team projects.
- Free student access to DataCamp, IBM SkillsBuild, Cisco Networking Academy and the SAS academic platform.
- Visa guidance from admission to arrival, which AI2 lists as included for every student.
- For the Fast-Track: eleven months of training including 500 hours of courses, the examinations and certification jury, and internship support and follow-up in the company.
Tuition does not cover housing, living costs, insurance, travel or visa fees. Plan these separately, as explained below.
Deposit, payment schedule and refunds
Your admission letter states the programme, intake, tuition and any scholarship.
You confirm your place by paying the deposit at enrolment. For the January 2027 intake, the deadline is 15 December 2026; the amount is stated in your admission letter.
Tuition can be paid in staggered instalments, as detailed in your admission letter, or in full, which may count towards the full-payment award.
Deposit and refund conditions, including what happens if your visa is refused, are set out in your admission letter. If a visa is refused, tell admissions straight away.
Before enrolling, request the applicable deposit, the payment schedule and any additional costs in writing. Never send money to a personal account or through an intermediary you do not know: follow the payment instructions in your admission documents.
Work-study can cover tuition from Year 2
In France, work-study (alternance) combines your programme with a salaried job. When you sign an apprenticeship or professionalisation contract, the employer’s training-fund operator (OPCO) pays your tuition to AI2 for the period covered by the contract, and you earn a salary set as a percentage of the French minimum wage. At AI2 it is possible in Bachelor Year 2, in the BSc final year and in MSc Year 2, but not in Bachelor Year 1, MSc Year 1 or the Fast-Track. It depends on finding an employer and is never guaranteed at admission. Read work-study at AI2 for the conditions.
Your budget beyond tuition
Two other figures matter for international students. First, for the long-stay student visa you must show resources of at least €877.50 a month, about €10,530 for twelve months, in addition to tuition. Second, AI2 estimates living costs at about €900 to €1,700 a month in the Paris region, rent included; sharing a flat near the campus brings this down. A full budget checklist includes:
- Annual tuition and scholarship, as confirmed in the admission letter.
- Deposit and payment schedule.
- Accommodation in the Paris region.
- Transport and health insurance.
- Visa and Campus France fees for international students.
- Living expenses for the whole study period.
Living costs are detailed on life in France and compared with other countries in the cost of studying AI in France. A student residence permit also allows paid work of up to 964 hours a year.
