Between June and August 2026, AI2’s founder and president Yacine Aslimi and international marketing manager Pavithra Vishwanath toured universities and institutes in India and Sri Lanka to build student pathways, faculty exchanges and joint programmes with AI2.

Three memoranda of understanding
The tour led to memoranda of understanding with Trinity College of Engineering & Research (KJ’s Educational Institute, Pune), Jaipuria Institute of Management (Jaipur) and Dr. MPS Group of Institutions. With Jaipuria, the agreement covers credit-bearing AI courses for students, student and faculty mobility, joint research, and AI2’s participation as academic partner of the IYC 2027 international conference.

Institutional visits in India
The delegation was welcomed by Symbiosis Skills & Professional University in Pune, including an exchange on AI in cybersecurity at its Qualys Centre of Excellence, by KIET Deemed to be University, JSS Science and Technology University and The National Institute of Engineering in Mysuru, by Sambhram Institute of Technology in Bengaluru and by Medicaps University in Indore. AI2 also presented its BSc and MSc programmes to hundreds of students and parents at the Sort My College Summit student exhibition organised with Meridean Overseas Education Consultants, and met Campus France India in New Delhi and Mumbai.

Sri Lanka
In Colombo, AI2 visited the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), the University of Moratuwa, BCAS Campus and the head office of Maharaja Institute of Management (CMG Group), and worked with The Students Visa on academic mobility between Sri Lanka and France.

What comes next
The pillars discussed with each partner are student mobility (exchange programmes, summer schools, international semesters), faculty mobility and joint research, and short programmes delivered with partner institutions. The full list of institutions and the scope of each relation is published on the academic partners page; entry routes from partner programmes into AI2’s BSc and MSc routes are described on the entry routes page.
