Frequently asked questions
Does France have a January intake?
Yes. Some French schools, including AI2, open programmes in January as well as September. AI2 also offers a May intake.
Is it too late for January 2027?
It is tight but possible if you apply now: admission, Campus France and the visa together take several weeks. If the timing is too short, the May 2027 intake is the natural alternative.
When should I apply for the May 2027 intake?
Ideally 6 months before, so from November or December 2026, to leave time for Campus France and the visa.
Are the programmes the same for every intake?
Yes. The programmes, fees and qualifications are the same whichever intake you choose. Ask the admissions team which programmes open at each intake.
Can I apply without IELTS?
AI2 accepts English-medium education as an alternative to IELTS or TOEFL, confirmed case by case.
