Your route from Armenia in 6 steps

1
Get your admission letter. Campus France lists admission outside the platform as a named case of the “I am accepted” tab.
2
Send your file. Add your CV, motivation letter, transcripts, last degree, language certificate and passport copy. Campus France says documents and translations do not need to be notarised or legalised, and a sworn translation is enough. For an English-taught programme, mandatory documents are in English or sworn-translated into English.
3
Pay the fee. The 2025 document lists 35,000 AMD, by transfer to the French Institute of Armenia, within a week of the email. It is not refunded, even if the visa is refused.
4
Attend the interview. It must be held in person in Armenia, with no phone or video and no exceptions, booked on the platform.
5
File at TLScontact. Wait for the Campus France confirmation email before you book. The centre is at 7/3 rue Argishti, Yerevan. The €29 service fee is paid online in dram, and the €50 visa fee is paid in dram. Your passport stays 2 weeks to 1 month.
6
Arrive and validate. Validate your visa online within 3 months of arrival and pay the €100 tax.

Passport, money and flight rules

  • Passport. Valid at least 15 months at visa application, with two consecutive blank pages plus a third.
  • Funds. At least €877.50 a month, or €10,530 for twelve months. Some Campus France PDFs still show €615, so do not use that figure.
  • Bank statements. Last three months, stamped, with daily entries, issued less than 2 weeks before your TLS appointment, plus proof of tuition funds.
  • Language. All visa documents must be in French or English, with sworn translations.
  • Flight booking. Book a flight at least one month after filing.
  • Military service. A male student who needs a deferral must get his new passport first, then apply.

Is an AI2 qualification recognised?

AI2’s degree programmes prepare RNCP titles at Levels 6 and 7, recognised by the French State. Campus France states that the value of a French diploma is guaranteed by the State for national diplomas, Ministry-approved diplomas and titles registered in the RNCP. You can look up each code on the France Compétences website. See is AI2 recognised and all programmes.

After you graduate

The one-year job-search permit is open to master’s-level graduates, among others, so most bachelor’s graduates who want to stay continue to a master’s first. Any AI2 BSc graduate can progress to MSc Year 1. No school can promise a job or a visa, and AI2 does not. While you study, the student visa allows up to 964 hours of work a year.

Getting to the campus

Air France serves Yerevan 3 times a week in winter 2026-27. Check the current schedule before you book. Also read visa guidance, the guides for Georgia and Azerbaijan, and all country guides.
