In Lahore, both the Campus France interview and the AEG visa desk are in the city, but the student visa interview takes place at the French Embassy in Islamabad, so one trip to the capital is part of the plan. AI2 – Applied Institute of Artificial Intelligence is an applied AI school on the Écouen campus, 22 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord. Its programmes are taught in English and prepare French State qualifications registered with France Compétences (RNCP) at level 6 (bachelor’s level) and level 7 (master’s level).
Applying from Lahore: what is specific to you
Campus France in Upper Mall
Campus France Pakistan’s Lahore office is inside the Alliance Française de Lahore at Scotch Corner, 155 Street 3, Upper Mall Scheme. The Alliance describes it as the official Campus France office for Punjab. If the address in your Études en France file is in Lahore, this is where your in-person academic interview will normally be held. Applicants from elsewhere in Punjab whose file address is closest to Lahore are interviewed here too. No walk-ins are accepted, so request an appointment by email beforehand.
AEG in Gulberg III, then Islamabad
AEG, which organises French visa appointments, has its Lahore office at Office G-1, Al Hafeez Business Avenue, Plot 95, Block B3, Gulberg III. Its Punjab offices charge a slightly higher service fee per file than the Islamabad office. Lahore’s computing universities
Lahore applicants often hold degrees from institutions such as Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in DHA, which hosts a National AI Hub; the University of Engineering and Technology (UET); the University of the Punjab; FAST-NUCES’s Lahore campus; or the Information Technology University (ITU). ITU offers a Bachelor in Artificial Intelligence and a Master in Data Science, and its admissions office is in Arfa Software Technology Park on Ferozepur Road, the IT park run by the Punjab Information Technology Board, whose own offices are in the same building. Whatever the institution, a related 16-year BS is the basis for the MSc, and two completed years of a BS can lead to the BSc final year.

BSc final year
AI-Powered Application Development or Data Analytics & Applied AI. Entry with an HND, a BTS or two years of higher education. RNCP level 6, from €9,900.
MSc Applied AI
Data Science, Cybersecurity or IoT. RNCP level 7 (master’s level), from €10,500 a year after the AI2 scholarship.
11-month Fast-Track
The level-7 qualification in under a year, €11,000. Starts in January.

Entry requirements
- MSc: a 16-year bachelor’s degree (BS) in computer science, IT, engineering, mathematics or statistics. English at B2 level: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 72 or equivalent, or schooling in English.
- Fast-Track (11 months): for graduates who want the level-7 qualification in under a year.
- Bachelor: the HSSC (FSc or ICS) or A-levels. English at B2 level: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 72 or equivalent, or schooling in English.
From Lahore to Paris: step by step
Apply to AI2 online and attend an online interview with the academic team.
Receive your admission letter.
Complete the Études en France procedure with Campus France: it is compulsory for long-stay student visas from Pakistan (details above).
Apply for the long-stay student visa (VLS-TS) on France-Visas, with proof of at least €877.50 a month of resources.
Arrive on the Écouen campus near Paris and validate your visa online on the ANEF portal within three months.

No. The PKR 30,000 Études en France fee goes by bank transfer or deposit to Alliance Française Karachi, wherever your interview takes place.
