Looking for a master’s in France as a Bangladeshi student? AI2 offers English-taught MSc programmes in applied AI, data science, cybersecurity and IoT near Paris, open to graduates from Bangladesh, with a State-registered qualification at master’s level (RNCP level 7).
Bangladesh is one of the countries covered by Campus France’s Études en France procedure, so the road to AI2 passes through Campus France Bangladesh before the French Embassy in Dhaka considers your visa. This guide explains how SSC, HSC and Bangladeshi degrees fit AI2’s programmes, which documents to prepare at home and what the fees mean in taka.
AI2 – Applied Institute of Artificial Intelligence is an applied AI school on the Écouen campus, 22 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord. Its programmes are taught in English and lead to French qualifications registered at bachelor’s and master’s level.
Applying from Bangladesh: what is specific to you
Matching your qualifications
- HSC with mathematics (after the SSC), or A-levels: entry to the three-year Bachelor in Applied AI.
- Two completed years of a bachelor’s: the BSc final year (top-up), which awards an RNCP level 6 qualification in one year.
- A four-year bachelor’s in CSE, EEE, software engineering, mathematics or statistics: the MSc Applied AI. Four years of related study can also be assessed for the 11-month Fast-Track.
- An MSc or MS in a related field: the Fast-Track.
Campus France Bangladesh and the embassy
Campus France Bangladesh is based in the Alliance Française de Dhaka, in Dhanmondi. Registration carries a fee that the office does not publish online, so email bangladesh@campusfrance.org for the current amount. Its interview has to be completed before you apply for the visa. Visa applications are examined by the visa section of the Embassy of France in Dhaka, while VFS Global receives files on its behalf. Students do not book an online slot like other applicants: France-Visas states that the embassy’s visa section contacts them directly. Addresses and opening hours are on our Dhaka guide.
Attestation and paying fees from Bangladesh
The government’s MyGov portal (mygov.bd) offers an online certificate attestation service for citizens going abroad, and a separate apostille portal. Ask the AI2 admissions team which form of your SSC, HSC and degree documents they need before you pay for any attestation.
To send tuition abroad, families open a “student file” with a bank. Standard Chartered Bangladesh, for example, describes it as the mechanism that lets Bangladeshi citizens convert taka to pay for studies overseas; it asks for the admission letter, the institution’s refund policy, an NID and the original passport, and the file is renewed every year. Start it as soon as your offer arrives.
