For a student in Kerala, the French side of an AI2 application runs through Kochi: the state’s only Campus France office and its French visa application centre are both there. Whether you live in Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode or Kochi itself, this page covers the local addresses, the institutions behind most applicants’ degrees and the routes to Paris.
AI2 – Applied Institute of Artificial Intelligence is an applied AI school on the Écouen campus, 22 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord. Its programmes are taught in English and prepare qualifications registered by the French State with France Compétences (RNCP) at level 6 (bachelor’s level) and level 7 (master’s level).
Applying from Kerala: what is specific to you
Campus France in Kochi
Campus France India runs its Kerala office in Kochi as an annex of the Alliance Française de Trivandrum, on the 4th floor of the Chavara Cultural Centre at Karikkamuri. Once your Études en France file is online, a Campus France manager reviews it and gives you an interview slot. Campus France India makes it mandatory to bring the originals of every document to that interview, so pack your mark sheets and degree certificate rather than copies alone.
The visa centre on M G Road
France-Visas lists one VFS Global centre in Kerala: Coastal Chambers, 1st floor, M G Road, Ravipuram, Kochi. It takes applications by appointment from Monday to Friday, and passports can be collected there without an appointment. If you are coming from Thiruvananthapuram or the Malabar coast, budget for at least one trip to Kochi for biometrics. France-Visas also states that applicants may use the VFS centre of their choice anywhere in India.
Where Kerala applicants study and work
Kerala’s three government IT parks are Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram, Infopark at Kakkanad in Kochi and Cyberpark in Kozhikode; Infopark’s own annual report describes Technopark as India’s first IT park. Digital University Kerala has its campus at Technopark Phase IV. A computer science or engineering bachelor’s from an institution such as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), whose departments include Computer Science and Computer Applications, or the National Institute of Technology Calicut, is the kind of related degree the MSc Applied AI asks for.
Flying from Kerala to Paris
The state has international airports at Kochi (COK), Thiruvananthapuram (TRV) and Kozhikode (CCJ). Air France’s 2026 summer schedule adds flights or larger aircraft on its Paris routes from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, so a domestic hop to one of those cities is a practical routing; compare it with other one-stop itineraries before you book. From Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the RER B line reaches Gare du Nord, and the Écouen campus is 22 minutes from there.
