VFS in Motera, decision in Mumbai
French visa applications are taken at the ground floor of Shree Balaji Agora Mall, between Tapovan and Bhat Circle on the 200 ft Sardar Patel Ring Road, Motera. Appointments run from 09:00 to 16:00 on weekdays, and passports can be collected until 17:00. Gujarat belongs to the district of the Consulate General of France in Mumbai, which examines the file. GIFT City and the institutions around it
GIFT City presents itself as India’s first operational smart city and its International Financial Services Centre, built on the banks of the Sabarmati between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, with metro links to both. Finance and technology together are its stated focus, which is where applied AI and data skills meet. Local applicants come from Gujarat University and Ahmedabad University (both in Navrangpura), Nirma University and L.D. College of Engineering, or from IIT Gandhinagar in the neighbouring capital.

Ahmedabad’s airport, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International, is operated under concession by Ahmedabad International Airport Ltd. Air France’s India website does not offer Paris departures from Ahmedabad, so a journey to Paris involves a change, for instance in Mumbai, Delhi or a hub abroad. Complete the Études en France procedure with Campus France in India: online academic file and interview.
Apply for the long-stay student visa (VLS-TS) on France-Visas, with proof of at least €877.50 a month of resources.
Arrive on the Écouen campus near Paris and validate your visa online on the ANEF portal within three months.
