Delhi is where the Embassy of France and its visa section are based, and the French Institute in India hosts one of the two Campus France addresses in the capital. For applicants from Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad or Gurugram, that means every French office involved in a student application is in the same city.
AI2 – Applied Institute of Artificial Intelligence is an applied AI school on the Écouen campus, 22 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord. Its programmes are taught in English and lead to French qualifications registered at bachelor’s and master’s level.
Applying from Delhi NCR: what is specific to you
Writing to the right Campus France manager
Campus France works from the Alliance Française de Delhi (72 KK Birla Lane, Lodhi Estate) and from the French Institute in India (2 Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Marg). The Delhi team divides its work by state, which matters in a region that spans three of them:
- New Delhi–NCR and Haryana: newdelhi@india-campusfrance.org
- Uttar Pradesh: delhi@india-campusfrance.org
- Rajasthan: cf.delhi@india-campusfrance.org
The visa centre on K.G. Marg
The VFS Global France centre is at #27 K.G. Marg, Connaught Place, open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:00 for booked appointments only. Files lodged there are decided by the visa section of the Embassy of France in Delhi. The procedure itself is national, so follow our France student visa from India guide for the paperwork.
Institutions across the capital region
Delhi NCR graduates come from a wide range of institutions: IIT Delhi in Hauz Khas, IIIT-Delhi in the Okhla Industrial Estate, Delhi Technological University, Netaji Subhas University of Technology in Dwarka, the University of Delhi and, on the Ghaziabad–Meerut Road, KIET Deemed to be University. A three-year B.Sc (Hons) in computer science, mathematics or statistics is a bachelor’s degree for MSc purposes. A four-year B.Tech also opens the 11-month Fast-Track. School leavers who finished Class 12 with mathematics can look at the Bachelor in Applied AI. English at B2 level is required for every programme (IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 72 or equivalent), and schooling in English can be accepted in place of a test.

Indira Gandhi International Airport
Air France operates a non-stop service between Delhi and Paris-Charles de Gaulle, according to its India website. The airline also points out that the Delhi Airport Metro Express (Orange Line) runs from New Delhi metro station to Terminals 2 and 3 every 10 to 15 minutes, in about 19 minutes; the airport is just under 10 miles south-west of central New Delhi.
