Hyderabad applicants use a mix of local and Bengaluru-based French services: Campus France and VFS Global both have offices in the city, while visa decisions for Telangana belong to the Consulate General of France in Bengaluru. Here is how that works in practice, together with the Hyderabad institutions whose graduates match AI2’s entry routes.
AI2 – Applied Institute of Artificial Intelligence is an applied AI school on the Écouen campus, 22 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord. Its programmes are taught in English and prepare qualifications registered by the French State with France Compétences (RNCP) at level 6 (bachelor’s level) and level 7 (master’s level).

A visa centre inside a metro station
VFS Global’s Hyderabad centre for France occupies Unit 1 in the lower concourse of Punjagutta Metro Station, on Punjagutta Road. It works Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, and is one of the earlier-opening French centres in India. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh fall within the district of the Consulate General of France in Bengaluru, which keeps a Bureau de France in Hyderabad. Applicants on the Andhra coast should know that VFS also lists a temporary service point in Visakhapatnam, open on one or two Saturdays a month. The national steps are set out in our France student visa from India guide.
Hyderabad institutions and where they lead
Two well-known research campuses, IIIT Hyderabad and the University of Hyderabad, are both in Gachibowli. JNTU Hyderabad is in Kukatpally, Osmania University was the first university founded in the former princely State of Hyderabad, and IIT Hyderabad is at Kandi in Sangareddy district. B.Tech holders from these or affiliated colleges can apply to the MSc or, with a related engineering degree, the 11-month Fast-Track. If you are finishing Class 12 (Intermediate) with mathematics, the three-year Bachelor in Applied AI is the entry point. Whichever route applies, the first step is the same online application, followed by an interview by video with the academic team.

Leaving from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport
Hyderabad’s airport, Rajiv Gandhi International, is run by GMR Hyderabad International Airport. Air France’s India website lists Paris departures from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai only, so from Hyderabad you should expect at least one connection. Compare routes through those cities with connections through hubs abroad before booking.
