From Lagos, every in-person step of the French student route happens inside the city: Campus France, the visa centre and the airport. This page gives the addresses and opening times, explains which Lagos institutions feed into which AI2 programme, and covers the flight to Paris.
AI2 – Applied Institute of Artificial Intelligence is an applied AI school on the Écouen campus, 22 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord. Its programmes are taught in English and prepare qualifications registered by the French State with France Compétences (RNCP) at level 6 (bachelor’s level) and level 7 (master’s level).
Applying from Lagos: what is specific to you
Three addresses to know
- Campus France Lagos: inside the Alliance Française, Mike Adenuga Centre, 9 Osborne Road, Ikoyi. Visitors and phone calls are taken Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 5 pm. This office serves applicants living in southern Nigeria.
- Campus France information point, UNILAG: French language resource centre, Faculty of Arts, Room G02, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba. Open weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, it is a convenient place to ask questions before you start an application.

Lagos institutions and AI2 entry routes
- University of Lagos (Akoka) and Lagos State University (main campus at Ojo, with a Faculty of Computing and Information Technology): a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related subject is the usual basis for the MSc Applied AI.
- Yaba College of Technology: holders of an HND can join AI2’s BSc final year directly.
- Secondary schools across Lagos State: leavers with WASSCE or NECO results that include mathematics apply for the Bachelor in Applied AI.
None of these institutions has a partnership with AI2. Each application is judged on its own file and the online interview; start yours on the apply now page.
Flying from Lagos to Paris
International departures leave from Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Ikeja, and Air France sells flights from Lagos to Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the Paris airport nearer to AI2’s Écouen campus. Do not buy the ticket before the visa is issued: at the application stage the Campus France Nigeria checklist asks only for an unpaid itinerary. For your first weeks in France, see student accommodation in Paris.
