Looking for a master’s in France as a Filipino student? AI2 offers English-taught MSc programmes in applied AI, data science, cybersecurity and IoT near Paris, open to graduates from the Philippines, with a French State qualification at master’s level (RNCP level 7).
The Philippines is not an Études en France country, yet Filipino students still speak to Campus France before their visa: the French Embassy in Manila asks every long-stay student applicant to complete a short pre-consular interview first. That conversation takes place online, so students in Visayas or Mindanao do not need to travel for it.
AI2 – Applied Institute of Artificial Intelligence is an applied AI school on the Écouen campus, 22 minutes from Paris Gare du Nord. Its programmes are taught in English and prepare French State qualifications registered with France Compétences (RNCP) at level 6 (bachelor’s level) and level 7 (master’s level).
Applying from the Philippines: what is specific to you
The Campus France pre-consular interview
France-Visas Philippines states that anyone seeking a long-stay student visa must book with the Campus France representative before applying at TLScontact. The interview is a brief online exchange with a member of the Embassy’s cultural department about your education, your experience and how both relate to the AI2 programme you have joined. Sessions run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, and you choose a date, or claim an exemption, through the form on the Campus France Philippines website.
Prepare these files before booking:
- A one-page CV in PDF covering your academic and professional background.
- Your AI2 admission letter.
- A clear copy of the data page of your valid passport.
- Your latest diploma, from the studies you completed most recently.
- The matching transcript of records.
Campus France stresses that its interview is separate from the consular assessment: it cannot follow up or appeal a visa application and is not told the result.
Philippine qualifications and AI2

TLScontact in Makati or Cebu
Since 13 December 2023, French visa applications in the Philippines have gone to TLScontact, at the 9th floor of 1 Proscenium Tower, Estrella, Makati, or at its Cebu centre. Complete the France-Visas form, then book on the TLScontact website; the Makati centre takes submissions on weekdays from 7 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays as Primetime appointments. The service fee is the peso equivalent of €25, refundable only if you withdraw before your biometrics are taken. The Embassy of France in Manila is the sole decision-maker.
